About DC Cruz:
DC Cruz was destined for the world of music and arts from the time he was able to hum his first beat at the age of three. DC always dreamed of being a musician from a very young age as a result of his families musical background so by the time he was fifteen he had honed his vocal skills with private vocal lessons at an academy to further persue his dreams of becoming a singer.
During his high school years DC had the opportunity to model and even travel to NYC to further develop his modeling career. Although DC did very well in the modeling world his true love still remained in music. Soon after DC returned home to Miami with a new thirst for a career in music, his true passion. DC was part of several groups before going solo and pushing onward to share his life through his music with the world.
DC came out with his first solo track, a catchy salsa Reggaeton song entitled “Mami” that caught the eyes and ears of Mexican radio stations, as well as huge internet radio play in different parts of the world. DC took it a step further and spent 2008 performing all over South Florida in everything from local TV shows to major club gigs including the annual Miami 2009 Winter Music Conference (WMC).
At WMC he debut his first dance track “Dreaming” which also aired on the Logo TV network. In 2010 DC put out a new single “Take Down” accompanied by a music video as well as collaborated with an up and coming local DJ on a deep house/ after hours track that has created buzz in the night club scene titled “Take Me to Space”. DC is also releasing his Latest single “Manniquista” an infectious spanish dance track which he Co-produced along with his second music video later this year!
DC is destined for greatness. He is presently in the studio full time prepping to bring new amazing music to the world.
